Ну, это скорее всего не генетическая мутация, а дефект развития плода. Если он повторяется, то он вызван или средой (какая-нибудь вода с необычной химией), или генетикой репродуктивной системы матерей. С другой стороны, обычно это у самок есть черты, которые нельзя повторить на самцах (из-за женских хромосом XX, которые длиннее, чем мужские XY). То есть, ничего невозможного в том, чтобы у самок была грива, в принципе нет. Могла быть и мутация.

Too much testosterone, its rare saw a documentary about it. Try national geographic archives, or google it
