  • needs to be faster and played smoother. You don't add in the vibratos that malmsteen has.(which is one of his big things). but i think it still was played decently. i must say one thing....i'm jelous of your equipment used to put it on the computer. how much did it cost you and what it called?. I want to be able to have clear sound like that so i can load more vids of me playin guitar. anyways 4 stars.

  • Thanks bro. I always like to keep it clean and accurate even if it means slowing the tempo down. I dont like sloppy shredders.

The guitar is plugged into a boss me-50 then the boss is plugged directly into PC soundcard (use the line-in socket not mic socket). I used cool edit pro to record the sound, you need to set the recording on your windows control panel to "wave" or "stereo mix", depends what card you have.

  • @7byseven

it´s not shred if you play it slow, so don´t do it or chose an easier one ;)

  • @Lemmy008 I prefer slow and clean better than fast and sloppy, i like to hear the notes not the players ego.

  • nice cover! i have some questions about gear tho, would you recommend that guitar and wheres your distortion coming from?

  • distortion comes from BOSS ME50 effects processor.

  • If you got a wizard neck and installed a handle in the body, you could pass it off as a JEM... oh yea and you gotta get an edge pro... I put a floyd on mine instead of the stock that comes with the rg350

why do you pick pieces of shredders, especially from malmsteen? his ego is bigger then the studio of shrapnel records, but his pieces have to be at over 170bpm, that´s his trademark. ;) and if you prefer a clean tone and slow, accurate playing, a shred piece is the wrong thing.

  • Nice! You did a great job there even if it is slower.. And great tone too. I have the same guitar :-) 5stars

  • playin it awesome man...great work.

i'm just starting to tackle this bad boy...

  • thanks! and good job once again
