  • Science cannot catch up with all those ideas and theories which are not observable and cannot be tested.

  • I agree with what is being said here, not all knowledge comes through the senses. Thinking and knowing are not the same thing. One is logic/reason and one is intuition. I have recently been having mystical experiences based on events that are not coincidences. How do we open this third eye, this psychic seat of wisdom further to reach Godhead?

  • I think science has caught up and surpassed the mystics, but it probably doesn't seem so sometimes because both science and mysticism have this annoying habit of thinking they are pitted up against each other. There should be no "vs." between them. Science is ahead, but with a blind rejection of all things spiritual is headed for some dead ends. Mystics who blindly reject science or challenge it are going against the very principles the mysteries are born from. But each can enhance the other.

  • Indians and asians just put me in a room with 6 each with inteligence for the slow and i promise we will change the world

  • google Doe's Account. mindblowing.

  • you know what, i gotta give you props for that one. hate to say it but the previous comment sounded like the typical hardened skeptic's attitude.

still, i do believe that meditation and mysticism could benefeit society (as in, more people could realize that it's really pointless to go fighting eachother over disagreements on opinion or faith.)

  • The world is dying because too many people are 'silencing their minds' and turning away from a focus on reality. Introspection is great for consciousness of one's self, but without reason and logic during, introspection becomes gazing at one's belly button.

  • okay...

so, before you continue, i would like to suggest you try to meditate to silence your mind.

    not so easy, is it?
