Smokehouse Blues by Jelly Roll Morton's Red Hot Peppers from about 1926, here re-issued on a rare British Rhythm Society 78 rpm record from the early 1950s. Good early blues/jazz! Enjoy!

  • I have been a fan of Jelly Roll for over 50 years. Smokehouse Blues is a very fine example of his playing with the Red Hot Peppers. Listening to this music lifts the soul. Thanks for posting.
