Yogurt's not just good for you, it's just plain good. Especially when you make your own. Host Alton Brown shows how easy this miraculous feat really is, then demonstrates plenty of ways to use the white stuff up.

Recipes featured in this episode: Fresh Yogurt, Lemon-Ginger Frozen Yogurt, Tarragon Yogurt Sauce, Thousand Island Dressing, Herb Spread, and Yogurt Cheese.

  • So AB has 2 black guys chilling in his back yard? Good for them!

  • Took a cooking class in high school. Played his episodes from time to time....only thing I learned from that class was from him...and people can turn a butter knife into a deadly weapon

  • Wait a second, lactose man=lever man

  • Alton Brown is on my list of people I will have sex with one day.

  • @AmoxcillinPsychosis eat shit faggot ass muthafucka i aint no fucking trool u dipshit cocksucker

  • Sure... He can taste differnce between organic and non-organic milk... O.O Taste differs from barnd to brand - organic or non organic and its almost imposible to tell unless it is fresh from cow.

  • @inthelandofwinter If the milk is bought from the store your are getting pasteurized milk and it only needs heated up to 120 F to get the yogurt cultures going strong. The older recipes state 180 F for raw milk to pasteurize it first, since raw milk almost illegal in most areas you don't have to worry about it. If you dump the yogurt cultures into 180 F you'll kill them. @ 3:43 - 4:07 and 7:35 - 47 he explains it.

  • He says heat milk to 120F. All other recipes I've seen/looked at say heat to 180F or around there. I'm confused.

  • 8:02 The gnome is like "OH SHI- the camera's on!" *vanish*

  • @degen83 Simple, if it looks like a troll and acts like a troll...Well you know the rest.

    Don't feed the trolls.
