I suppose when you have nothing to argue about you grope around in the dark for things to pick at...
This has less to do with Republicanism or Liberalism than the fact that a small cabal of business-connected political leaders decided on a course of action that has ultimately proven itself to be more than a loss-leader, and will mortgage the US economy for decades.
If you seek independent thought that is cogent, succinct, and appropriate it does exist.

I don't know where you get that I have a problem with the troops, just the opposite. I want every last one of them to come home ALIVE, unlike YOU, Bush and the conservatives who don't care if they come home in a body bag, crippled or at all....
