I just got tons of Purina One Beyond dog food I stock pile on it because it is so damn exspensive so when you can get it cheap why not besides do you know long that stuff has been sitting in warehouses and stores and such it really isnt that fresh

Why wouldn't you stockpile dog food? Sorry, I just think it is weird that people would question it. If extreme weather or other drama occurs your dogs still deserve to eat. Also, who knows how big or how many dogs she has. That supply I saw her show would not last some bigger or working class dogs very long. I know many push for fresh food for dogs but I have lived through a long power outage before and believe me you end up being greatful for the non perishables.

Credit cards are SO bad.... I watched my parents get so burned by those cards. I am debt free. Have been, always will be. I get to have fun, make money and make a difference in ppl's lives. =)

@jjcahubbard I find it hard to believe they would not be able to pay at the end of the month..even if someone lost their job suddenly you will still have a paycheck or two coming to pay the bill and then live off your stockpile for awhile.

You had me until you said: You must have a credit card. I find it interesting how you stress having a credit card, yet you mention Dave Ramsey who stresses NOT EVER having a credit card. Also, what would your family do in a situation where you have paid a months worth of bills on your credit card, and you are suddenly faced with the family bread winner losing his job? I find it very risky to have a credit card to simply gain points for vacations. My families well being is more important than it.

@emlerron You're right my friend. I use coupons only for : shampoo, detergent, paper towels, etc,. I use store coupons for ham, bologna,. I like to buy meat and I like to freeze those products. I can not stockpile cookies, or any kind of snack., it has to be just for a month. But I love to can fruits,, vegetables, I like to dry the banana. We buy rice and beans by the bulk, toothpaste 3 per week. I like to hunt sales! I do not like to go to the store and take all from the aisle. That is bad .
