1959 Pontiac Star Chief 389 Dual Quad Muncie 4 Speed

This is my 1959 Pontiac Star Chief that I have been building the last two and a half years. It was an original tri power/automatic car that I have converted to dual quads and a muncie 4 speed. It's not drivable yet but it's close. It still needs brakes, a driveshaft and clutch linkage installed. The motor is ompletely rebuilt original 389 with some goodies in it.

sounds a bit over carbed, but a fine peice of history, love the vista roof... true collector's peice, and by the way glass packs sound like shit on a 389, spend the money and go with flowmaster 50's... gives you the low end without all the high pitch glass pak noise, put the 50 series on my dad's gto and they sound awsome...

@boreddead88 Could be. It has not been tuned at all. I'm not making the money I used to so I haven't had the time or money to mess with it in forever. I'm hoping this summer I can hit it hard and at least get it movable

@boreddead88 I've had it over 5 years and it's not going anywhere. Believe it or not I have over 12K into it and it still looks like crap. I wouldn't trade it for anything though

Open headers for now. I'm going to run dual Thrush glass packs before I get it legalized. It's too damn loud as is. You can probably hear it fire up from a mile a way
