Canon EOS 60D - Western Australia

We had a chance to test out the new Canon EOS 60D and what a coincidence that we were planning to go to Perth for 3 portraiture sessions.So we brought along the 60D, we put it as one of the main cameras.we had hundreds of footage from our other cameras 1DMK4,5DMK2 & 7D but believe it or not 100% of the edited footage is from the Canon EOS 60D.

NO COLOR GRADING WAS DONE.

Man i was so pummed to go out and film something of (hopefully) equal quality with my own 60d and kit lens....then i saw the list of glass used at the end and said "fuck, nevermind.".....but if anyone reads this don't think for the second the kit lenses aren't good, for I love them and they produce amazing pictures. It's just to get the DOF and sharpness of the video above you'll definitely need L glass.

i´m in doubt of getting the 60d or de 7d. What is in your opinion the most important difference between the two? By the way..how usefull is the flipout LCD? I wonder if that could be a good enough reason for me to get the 60d.

I also have the same camera with a few L lenses that dont go below f/4. What do you recommend to get video as good as yours. Is it imerative to have f/2.8 lens?

Also what class SD card did you use? I use a 64GB class 10 133x SDXC card. Can you get any better than that for video or is that good enough.
