  • Bull Shit. You just told me that every thing I do is Monitored. I have one on my home here and in another state. even CoOps have em monitoring your life

  • It is a great idea. When you are using an electrical device in your home they can confirm what device you already know you are using to better help you know what it is you are using. Then you can decide to not use what you are using, in order to save electricity by simply not using it. Wow that's a smart meter. How did we get along without that all these years?

  • wow NO ONE LIKE SMART METERS! get a clue.

we DONT WANT: spying, being irradiated, being controlled etc

    YOU SUCK!

put the analogs BACK ON HUMAN TRAITORS!

    CORPORATE SCUM!

  • @movitmovit you can also be assured that there will be no discount for off-peak time; only an increase in rate for on-peak time. in the end, you will pay more overall even if you do run your dryer in the middle of the night. and let's look at that tangent as well: besides your dryer, dishwasher, or maybe bread maker, what else would you change to off-peak time? we use power when we need it. that's the nature of power usage. we don't need power in the middle of the night.

  • next step: time based billing. besides stopping theft (which is a good thing), there is no other reason to install these.

  • @SmartMeterDangers Great post. Research people! This has nothing to do with accuracy and electricity conservation. It does not make you more aware of your usage. It makes them more aware of what you are doing in your home.

  • Visit Smart Meter Dangers smartmeterdangers dot o r g and to access an educational speaker's packet called Reasons to Say No to Smart Meters. Present at local group meetings, your local town council or county supervisor's meetings.
