@davewhodavedunn I have got news for you dave... hydrogen cars are electric cars that get the electricity from hydrogen. The only solution anyone has come up with that is not electric is the same internal combustion engine (diesel, gas, etc.) that we have had for the last hundred years. So argue about whether to use batteries, hydrogen, or solar, etc. to get the electric, but electric propulsion IS the way of the future for transportation.
@davewhodavedunn The energy to produce hydrogen will come from the same grid that we would use to charge EVs, it would just be a much less efficient way to power our cars. Fuel cells are also incredibly expensive, the Honda FCX would sell for something like $2 million if you could actually buy it. Battery technology will improve just as ICE technology did and at some point we'll wonder what the hell we were doing screwing around with fuel cells and biofuels.
@idontcare80 if I had that answer I would be rich....probably hydrogen....but battery powered cars are not. They put strain on the grids...electricity isn't that cheap...either are the batteries, and they will just end up in land fills....not cool! They gotta think outside the box..if we can put a man on the moon im sure we can make cars run off something other than gas or batteries...lol
@DSNCB919 The Idea is already sold in cars In Europe and Asia, but those would never come to America, I want to improve the idea, make it cheaper to produce, produce everything IN AMERICA, and make it more widley avalible, oh yeah, and not limit how much you have to go before filling tanks back up! Cool.

@chosuriki nothing in college is useless

@chosuriki As long as we the people want it, then it'll happen. Just don't expect us to ditch our V8s overnight. We aren't Europe.

Another completely useless exercise in the US. With the failure of the recent climate bill, the US is will never move to a eco-friendly society.
