@MrDenizen Why? Because when I play it my cat runs through the house looking out every window trying to figure out where they are. Best video EVER!

So sad to see people complain about them. I suppose they have local birds suffering from the benevolent, but not always finite offerings of this, the most humble and personable bird. Sparrows are not in any way the fancy bird, but that is part of why I love them.

HEY! when I play this video it gets a major reaction from my Budgie! I have a flock of twenty five-ish that visit me each day to eat the fat balls I leave out for them daily on my windowledge! I love lil birds :)

Recording sparrows chirrupping is akin to recording cloads floating by in the sky. Why bother?
MrDenizen 1 year ago
@MrDenizen Point taken but why bother - because not everyone knows its a House Sparrow or what it sounds like. Most of my bird videos are to show the bird and its song!!! Thats the whole point - its an identification thing.

Some song, more like a tweet but these birds are a problem especially to song birds since the HOSP will kill neighboring birds eggs or distrupt the nest. They will also take all the good nesting spots too there are massive government control programs in place right now trying to slow them down.

They are a problem in America - yes - they are not a native species over there. However they are an endangered species over here in England.

@chainsawbeks you can have them all back! lol. Most of us don't like them here. They kill our sweet little Eastern Bluebirds. Not to mention they wake me up at the crack of dawn with that ceaseless obnoxious chirping right by my window. If I scare them off they come back 20 minutes later. Drives me literally into madness.

@klb084 Im not really a fan of the Sparrow - they do make a lot of noise here and when they are around there are so many of them!! However, the whole point of my video was to capture the song with the bird - whether I like it or not!
