As - George Michael - Bass Guitar Solo Cover

Hello all. My cover of George Michael's (originally Stevie Wonder's) 'As'. An awesome little groovy bass line which I needed to give some time, practice and attention too before I recorded this. It's kind of tricky as it's one of those songs where the bass really defines both the chord progression and groove.

Take the verse for example, there's a little piano just holding the chords, but the bass really defines the key and it's progression. And then the chorus, that killer Abm groove really sets it down - there's not really even any snare drum so the bass is giving it most of the funk. I don't mean to sound biased, but this really is such a good example of a song that totally relies on the bass.
