@spyyder976 besides what i said above, also at six flags astroworld in houston i was on the texas cyclone and was almost thrown out because in the front seat alone, there is too much space between you and the bar and you will fly right out if you don't have a second person in there to make it tight for you both; i had to ride most of the ride hanging on for dear life with both arms and even getting down in the floor of the car to make sure i wasn't thrown out on hills because you will fly out

@TheIncognitoGiraffe oh hell yes they do!

@ParanormalIndiana bullshit, i was almost thrown completely out of the mindbender at six flags in GA because they didn't put the bar all the way down and one knee was sticking out because i'm so tall and they refused to raise the restraints so i could get all the way in; they sent the ride through and on the 2 loops i almost flew out, and folks behind me had to grab my arm when i reached back to them and they pulled me back down in and held me down by the shoulders! they got cussed out big time

This was before the accident happened with the yeti. Because the force of the coaster was so strong, the yeti actually bent over to grab and bent the bar in it's back. Because the coaster was built around the yeti, imaginers can't fix it. So now they just bent it back while only the arm can move. They put a strobe light to add effects. RIP old yeti.

@spartarulz123456789
Rollercoasters like that are designed to hold you by force - the lap bar is a nice little "safety tool", but you will not fall out of a rollercoaster simply because of the Lap Bar. They are mainly there to keep you from voluntarily standing up while on the ride.
