Holy smokes this is just eye opening !

Is it just me, or at 4:18, and 4:45 when he makes the box cutter cuts, he hits on the far left, but then when it goes close on the meat, all of a sudden the cuts are on far right? Also, it shows cuts from further away. Then when he makes the cut with the knife, it shows it close up when he makes cut so you see that where the knife hits and the cut appears is indeed the same spot. A little suspicious to me, unless I missed something.

ugh, he worked with TSA, i feel for this guy

@Wyndstarthedruid putting your head in the sand and attempting to create a scenario that fits your opinion doesn't validate reality, but what would I know I only teach defensive tactics. Army, security contractor, FIlipino kali and Pre MACP Mil combatives instructor
-
@SpartanCombativesGrp the irony of your post should be framed. have a good life. RAWR tactical life. ffs, lemme guess. marine?
-
@Wyndstarthedruid You are what? 22. I am sure you feel you have a great deal of life experience, but I promise you that you haven't seen a fraction of what I have. GO get yourself some training. NO tactical instruction will advise or support condition 3 carry. Your cynical attitude, and arrogance are obviously a product of youth and ignorance. If you carried a weapon as part of your daily requirement, and dealt with violent confrontations, your opinion would change.

@SpartanCombativesGrp listen man i know all this, i am not talking about me, but you are still trying to lecture me on the mechanics of reaction time during combat/self defense. In terms of the average layman. it should not be a "requirement" or automatically deem the person senseless if he/she dosent want a fucking live round infront of a firing pin in/on his or her body/bag. false sense of security my ass, simply the sight of a gun deters most attacks.
-
@Wyndstarthedruid being careful in spite of correct application isnt going to save your life. That is a FALSE sense of security. The raction time needed to draw a firearm under duress and induce the mind to execute an action that is not directly involved in engaging the threat is extrememly difficult if the threat is realistic in its range.
-
@SpartanCombativesGrp im gonna try and not be as condescending as possible..but *golf clap*, tell that to the mom taking her kids to school with a kel-tec in her purse.
-
@Wyndstarthedruid training is the key. Training is only mysterious to the amateur. It is an absolute lifestyle to people who take their tactical training seriously. I generally have at least 4 levels of force on me at all times.

When someone who has over 25 yrs experience in Ma study and practice on a very practical level... and they still fear a knife attack when unarmed... that should be considered a serious lesson right there. If you still think gun > Knife... then try a simple test... take a water pistol, place it inside a jacket (as if in holster) and get someone to rush you from 20 ft away 'slicing' at you with a red water soluble marker... now see if you get more scribble on you than they get wet on them.
