The Bay City Union first formed in March 1966, and played Chicago Blues with The Down and Out, at the Saint George Club - Paul Johnson was their first vocallist/harmonica player.

The recording features, Matt Taylor (vocals & harmonica); Phil Manning (guitar); Glenn Wheatley (guitar); Trevor Bagnall (bass) & Tony Buettel (drums).

This single was release in April 1968, and the band broke up around July 1968.
