Join Wessex Archaeology's divers on a tour of the wreck of the Royal Navy's A1 submarine.

The A1 sank -- for the second time - in Bracklesham Bay, off the Sussex coast in 1911 whilst being towed. Nobody was onboard at the time. Read more about our diving work on Wessex Archaeology's Coastal and Marine website -- http://splash.wessexarch.co.uk

This video was edited by Jenny Austin and Alex Pope whilst undertaking work experience with Wessex Archaeology's Coastal and Marine Team.

This wreck was dived as part of Wessex Archaeology's diving services in support of the Protection of Wrecks Act 1973. The original video is Crown copyright.
