I was looking for a point and shoot cam that would record good-looking 720p video with at least 30 frames per second. I did a lot of research and finally settled for the Canon SD960 IS. I think this video represents the cam's capabilities pretty well - I give it an 8 out of 10 and would buy it again!

  • Is there a way to edit this footage with adobe premiere withotu converting it to a different format?

  • @lethalazn Not sure about Premiere but you can use tools like MPEG Streamclip to set start and end points and save w/o re-encoding.

  • Did you do any color correction on that video or is it straight from the camera? Looks great!

  • @HeelnToad Straight from cam. Sorry for the delay, have had technical problems posting comments here.

  • so is it good for making a movie?? is the sound system good???

  • @britlovr5490 Sound is decent. 16-bit PCM, .44.1 KHz, mono, 705.6 Kbps CBR.

  • very nice quality. can you answer some of the questions from other users? i would like to know those as well. thanks!

  • a tela dela desliga para durar mais tempo a bateria qaunto quizer filmar mais ?

  • As long as your card can hold, if you put in a 16GB Card the camera one can hold a little more than 1 hour with that amount of memory. Just remember that YouTube will only let you upload 10 minutes ;-)

  • How long can the videos be? Just 12 seconds, or as much as the camera/MicroCard hold?

  • oh man what format did you upload it to?

  • I've GOT to get this bad boy.
