I wanted to see it, since they both won Golden Globes for this, no wonder why? Magnificent, Brilliant... Poliakoff has its ways... Blunt is brilliant, Nighy is spectacular, I just saw Glorious 39 and I was fascinated too...

Stephen Poliakoff is a truly marvellous writer. I'm a particular fan of this film and Shooting the Past and Friends and Crocodiles.
I can't help but thing of the final scene with Gideon and his daughter every time I walk along Royal Terrace in Edinburgh. Not that I've ever seen it so free of cars as it is in the film - but that's artistic license for you.

This is my first time seeing this film at first i was a little slow at putting together
what this movie was all about. Nevertheless I chose to stick with it. I'm sure glad.
I find this movie extremely powerful and moving. As a romantic I'm glad that Stella
& Gideon got together. Truly a first rate film. Thank you & God Bless.

That was one of the best films I've seen in a long time. Thanks a million for uploading this. Everyone gave a brilliant performance, especially Bill and Emily. I hope they star in another film together, they'd be spectacular.
