I disagree somewhat. Here's my version:
Homer: From grumpy authoritarian to goofy man-child
Marge: From blank, passive wife to smart but naive modern woman
Bart: From rebellious little smart-aleck to somewhat more sensitive rebellious little smart-aleck
Lisa: From bratty little hellion to shallow caricature of a faddish leftist.
Maggie: No argument. =)
(I'm totally skipping the earlier years of the actual show here. The above just compares the Ullman era to now.)
