I have Lupus but......

I made this video to show how Lupus has affected me. Though, I have Lupus, it doesn't have me. I would like to say Lupus hasn't changed me but it has. I had to fight to live and that has made me stronger. I have days where i can't make it out of bed because of pain and fatigue. There are days that I dont even want to look in the mirror because of the rashes, dark circles, and the pale skin. (due to anemia) Some days I want to throw every single pill out the window!! The side effects of the meds are just as bad as the Lupus symptoms!! Yet through all of it......I smile and laugh because that is "who" I am. Don't get me wrong, I have the days of anger and depression. I just try to remember "who" I am and not what Lupus has made me. That I have been blessed to be still living.That can be very hard though.... Lupus is now attacking my liver and kidneys. I am on new meds and i hope they do their job!

I am living with Lupus and everyone I talk to they are negative but you, oh no. You are a person that have just made a difference in someone's life. It really touch me the heart. I love your swag on this video. I hope you keep the attitude that you and you will live longer. Beat the lupus and don't let it beat u! My child is what keeps me striving everyday because I always say if I sit and say I'm sick then, I am going to be sick. I live everyday of my life TO THE LIMITS!

Hi sweets. I appreciate watching this. I am being tested for Lupus and I am scared. I would never had guess to be checked for that. It started out because of these lumps on my legs the were hard and felt like bruises. They were warm to the touch. I do have arthritis in my lower back and knees as well. So, I do not know if I do have it or not. I wish to get some insite on this. I have an autistic son that really needs me. I am scared and I do cry because of the unknown.

Hi my name is Lorenzo and I have all the symptoms that a lupus patient has and I'm scared to death because I lost my mother to Lupus at the age of 43. I'm 33 and I have 5 kids and I don't want to leave them anytime soon. So I'm gonna go to the doctor and get some test done and hope for the best. If it comes back that I have the disease than I'm ready to fight it. But I know I'm gonna need alot of help otherwise I will lose it. Thank u for this video.
