Amitabh is the most recognised Asian in the world..how many people have herd /recognise Dilip kumar....very few....
Amitabh has literally bought indian cinema 2 wer it is today both nationally and internationally...
As for so called award at his peek the press had banned him for 11 years hence not many award...as if they really matter in first place...
Amitbh is once in lifetime phenomena- so please don't compare him 2 any1

@greenfrog140 the award that dilip kumar received in 1984 was not deserved, the evidence everyone knows Amitabh Bachchan in the film (shakti) than dilip. secondly it was a fimlfare award and everyone knows that such Filmfare made several errors like in Sholay
