    I doubt the fool was joking. I am amazed that so few people know the level of Jackie Wilson's abilities and achievements.

    Jackie's voice was so strong that when he was first recording with Billy Ward and His Dominoes, in those primitive studios King used in the early 1950s, they had to pull Jackie's mike several feet away from him while the others in the quartet stood next to their own. One of the other Dominoes told his son that everyone's ears hurt after a recording session with Jackie.

    in september of 1961 jackie wilson stopped off at a bar on the southside of chicago.

    Threw a $1000 dollar bill on the bar and told the owner "lock the door and let it ride" ...True story.

    Beautifully Said! The Magic radiating out of his voice and his passion for his music is unteachable! This is why he inspired greats like Michael Jackson. I love Jackie. His tragic story and beautiful radiance needs to be on the big screens!
