Cleaning a copper pan can be fun! You see all kinds of instant-gratification commercials, but this is an easy solution which REALLY DOES work! All you have to do is mix some salt and vinegar, and voila, you've got a bright copper shine! :D

  • Ok ok, but how do you get that black caked on shit in the middle of the pot off???

  • @gentrysnavat I meant to say that I'm surprised that my mom doesnt know about that kind of stuff.

  • @TheLegend1245 your WHAT?? oh nevermind

  • I did that on my pennies.

  • It does not fall off, I've used this myself many times and cooked with the same pans x-x

  • "The feeling of rust against my salad fingers is almost... Orgasmic."

  • you know what else has salt and vinegar in it? ketchup. ketchup works great and i'm sure most people have a bottle in their house. I've seen people clean their copper heat sinks in their computer with it because it gets into small places easily.

  • asennad is exaggerating a little, but it does corrode the metal somewhat and doing this too much will indeed corrode through the metal sooner or later.

  • Of course what she didn't tell you is that next time you use the pot the bottom falls off from the acidic corrosion.

  • does this work on pennies?
