Insignificance - Why is the universe so gorram big?

A excerpt from "Cosmic Voyage"

"pangeaprogress" uploaded "The Grand Scale of the Universe" which had the highlight of "Cosmic Voyage" plus an interesting mix of footage from the documentary and music from a movie called "Equilibrium" which goes perfectly together. I made this because I wanted to see the same thing "pangeaprogress" made but in HD so my head would explode. By uploading it to YouTube everyone can experience the explosion of ones' head! :D

You don't see the people in Venice, our planet and satellite, our solar system, the Milky Way, the other billions of galaxies in the known universe, everything we can see it's all made of nor hear Morgan Freeman educating you and the epic music synced to enhance the visualization of perspective this video was meant to display? I remember seeing this video when I went to the Phoenix science center, they had it in a big theater. I had a good idea of how the scale of things are, but this really does make you really think about it.

lol, they didn't know what to do when they got to the inside of a particle, so they just had sparks fly around.

@verulence Yes, quarks, but at that time they didn't seem to know what to make of them, so they just had glitter flicker around. I don't know if we have a better understanding of their structure now.
