My husband first put his arm round me as we were going over the top bit of the Scenic Railway in 1970. We were so lucky to be teenagers in the days Dreamland required no entry fee and was packed with people. I spent many a happy half hour stuck at the top of the double wheel!!!!

I loved the scenic railway. I had lots of happy times roaming around Dreamland in the 60's and 70's! Who ever burnt this down is a ...I can't find words bad enough to express my feelings! Like so many other kids who had fun here, now all we have is our memories shattered! Our kids will never experience the magic we had in those days!!!!

If i ever found out who burnt down my childhood i would happily watch them swing from whats left of the scenic railway.... You are nothing but low life scum who needs to be set on fire themselves.

fantastic park back in the 60s & 70s i have footage of the waltzer before it was burnt up in 2003.
the bastards!!!! that ride was built in 1955 and still / was going strong stuff the modern rides you can keep them give me a calypso waltzer ark autodrome skid scenic railway anyday
