http://www.carolstreamchamber.com The Carol Stream Chamber hosted the Networking 2.0 Social Media Face2Face Meetup on October 6, 2010. This first-time innovative networking format utilized QR codes to exchange contact information between attendees. Social media advisors Heidi Thorne, Thorne Communications, and Dana Plazyk, NoExcuses Mobile Marketing, were on hand to field social media questions from newbies and novices. In addition to online and social media networking, the event also featured face-to-face activities including "accelerated networking." Luanne Triolo Newman, Executive Director of the Chamber, facilitated the evening's various activities and offered demonstrations for attendees.
