Serve & Protect: Will US newest M-ATV vehicle save troops in Afghan war?

The U.S general overseeing the thirty-thousand-strong troop surge in Afghanistan, has asked senators to give the administration a year to prove their strategy will pay off. Testifying before Congress General David Petraeus warned violence is likely to increase in the spring but was optimistic about progress being made. One of the major threats against soldiers in Afghanistan have been roadside bombs. The Pentagon has come up with a new plan to counter them.
