Congressman Boccieri and Congressman Tim Ryan announced the successful passage of an amendment to the Foreign Relations Authorization Act calling for justice in the case of slain Air Force Reserve Major Karl Hoerig. The amendment expresses the sense of Congress that, The U.S. government should, as a priority matter, work with prosecutors in the State of Ohio, as well as facilitate the cooperation with the government of Brazil, in order to obtain justice in this tragic case. To date, Brazil refuses to extradite Ms. Hoerig despite an existing extradition treaty with the U.S. As a result, justice for Major Hoerigs family remains out of reach, despite the fact that the crime of aggravated murder is recognized by every country in the world. Boccieri is a friend of Karl Hoerig's through their time in the Air Force. Boccieri talks about Hoerig's case in this video on Fox News.
we should not ask Brazil but tell them to extradite her..... If someone was go there and Murder her and return to the states what would happen to them?

If she became American she's not Brazilian anymore so she can be extradite to Us and be answering for what she did. another possibility is to be reported to prosecutor in Brazil and he will start a criminal process against her even if the crime was abroad.
