How many are on 237s?
-
@billyfrmhill there are two engine and one tiller truck so it goes engine 37,engine 237 and truck 37
-
also UCLA does have theier own EMS and even a small fire truck as well
-
It is, but, we've had a case where the Engine got called, the truck was at station; got called together as a light-force and met up on the response. Oh yea, and also, this engine was called alone for a medical aid. A truck is not needed on all calls. If a light force is close, a light force will be called, as at least 2 medics have to be on scene for a medical call. An RA is at the request of the medics, as an '800' or an ALS Rescue, RA, or Ambulance.

But doesn't the 2-car always follow the truck around as part of the light force? Correct me but I thought the whole point of a light force is to have an engine and a truck with six guys?

It's more left as a reminder, because it's become somewhat of a tradition to leave it on there. It's been there since the ISO system was introduced, and L.A got a 1. It actually still was a 1 before it was taken out of service. I checked. Guys from Station 37 are nice, I talked with the guys of 37. First ones I talked to were off 237, lol. Station 37 covers the UCLA side of L.A.

your name explains it all
