usually, in this country, when you have a failed presidency or failed presidential campaign, you step down respectfully. You dont come on TV heckling your predecessors. You didnt see clinton heckling bush, or al gore antagonizing bush either. The unemployment and GDP numbers are about the same as Carter's 1980 recession, but inflation is still OK (unlike Carter's runaway inflation and 18% interest rates). How grateful the world is that you are so generous & patient. If you read my other post you would see that THERE IS NO WAY OUT of this mess. There are no viable options either economically or in Iraq. And all I've seen so far is a ton of borrowing/spending with no credible explanation of how it gets paid back.

I'm giving Obama a year and lots of latitude on stimulus spending. I think that's quite a compromise as I'm a fiscal conservative...certainly a hell of a lot more latitude than the Left gave Bush the last four years.
