  • It is the Liberian flag - she was registered in Liberia to avoid paying £80 for an inspection under the UK boat safety scheme. This safety scheme checks petrol, electics, gas and enclosed spaces - I have none of these, and they still want to charge £80 to confirm they aren't there! So she is registered in Liberia, owned by a holding company in Monrovia and leased back to me.

  • Very nice steam launch! What type of engine and bolier is she running?

  • A single cylinder (3"x4") with coal fired water tube boiler. Alas though I sold her a month ago and missing her still. Gordon
