Jimmy LaRocca even looks like Nick LaRocca. NIce to see the playing style being continued. Dixie is an amazing musical genre that deserves a lot more attention then it receives.

This is fantastic! Love this genre of music! Sometimes I think that maybe I should have been living back in the '20's - so in love with everything from that era. Absolutely fantastic! Nice to see that Mr. LaRocca has followed in his father's footsteps!

You guys are great!!! When will you come to Los Angeles?

Awesome music, so glad to find this on youtube. I found ragtime as well, really enjoy the music of the early 1900's and late 1800's. I know ragtime style piano originated back in the 1800's, but didn't get well noticed until the 1930ish era. I guess DixieLand started somewhere in the 1910's.

wooeee, lively and absolutely can't sit still and listen happy music! All the instrumentalists are top class.

These guys are unbelievable. Incredible dynamics, terrific timing and the drummer and bass just pushing the band without being overpowering. All three horn players providing delightful improvisations. A rag is great to hear just on a piano but with the whole band joining in, it is just too good and I could listen to this kind of playing for hours.
Love it. When is your next performance if you are still prefroming?
