  • @EmanuelaZucchi The chorale section is my favourite part as well, it's so beautiful. Chopin was a genius and Rubinstein plays his music brilliantly.

  • It's like a regional Kiwanis music festival, this one includes a few towns in the Greater Toronto Area. You go and play in a class of about 1-8 people usually and you get marked by an adjudicator who also gives you tips on how to improve. There are awards for first, second and third places in each class. It's pretty cool cause you get feed back on your playing, and its also great if you place;)

  • @2juli4 what festival

  • @alienacidtechno lol that was 9 months ago, but thank you i did well. i got a compliment from one of the head music teachers that was there watching the show, so i felt pretty accomplished:) i'm going to play this in a festival coming up in march actually, so i'm starting to prepare it again

  • @2juli4 Yeah, good luck tomorrow!

  • Jeden z najlepszych utworów Szopena, okrywam go za każdym razem na nowo. Genialna interpretacja znów mam ciarki!

  • @2juli4 with that kind of pessimism, ur playing will never sound like this!

Cheer up!! Feel the piece :)

If you say, my playing is as good as this (or even better!) and give it ur best shot, then it will be the way you want it... Will power is everything!

  • @KillerxSkittles Such a gorgeous nocturne. You can imagine the melancholy that he imposed on his listeners in the Pleyel salons. There more you listen to Chopin to more you realise how timeless his music really is.

  • Oh my god! This is so incredibly amazing. I love Chopin, and this one.. well, I had forgotten which one it was, and I could only remember part of it, and have been desperate to hear it again for MONTHS!

    At last...
