@itsaniphone Hey I was wondering if the profire 610 works with FL STUDIO 9 or 10 because I was reading on it and it doesn't mention it is able to work with FL STUDIO 9 or 10.

i own a really good preamp... can i use the 610 just as a Audio Interface??? i mean to connect my preamp out to the 610 and connect the firewire output to my mac on logic??? does the 610 works as a standalone Ad/Da?? i noticed the back line inputs...?

@guitarsalert outboard hardware, compressors, eq's reverb units, autotune units, just to name a few :) or use 1/2 for monitors.

@JonnyAppleCor Well, I can't exactly give you the link because YouTube doesn't like that, haha, but if you go to the M-Audio site (m-audio dot com), hit support, then under contact tech support, there is a link that says Drivers & Updates. Click that. You should be able to click through to find your device and then operating system. The download will be at the bottom of the page. Hope this helped. :)

hey there, can you tell me why there are two firewire ports, one is for say to go my mac the other for what?, and also where would i plug both of my active balanced monitors, which two inputs? thnkx

@rollituplightitup85 The other port is basically like a firewire hub, you can plug say a camera into it and it would be just like plugging it straight into the computer. You could use any two sets of line outs (1 and 2, 3 and 4, etc) for your monitors, but typically 1 and 2 are used. Sorry for the late reply, hope this helped.

are there any rca jacks for studio monitors
StressFreeWorldWide 1 year ago
@StressFreeWorldWide Sorry for taking two months to reply, haha.. If you have monitors that only have RCA, most likely you won't need the 610, as the improved sound quality over less expensive interfaces probably wouldn't sound any different. The M-Audio Fast Track Pro or Ultra might be better choices. Oh, also, there are 1/4" to RCA adapters if you end up wanting the 610.
