  • just finished watching this film, i kinda mistakenly watched it if that make sense. Who would of thought a whole film shot in no more than 4 locations with 70% of the filming in one location could be so engaging and entertaining. Great watch cgi is not needed a good story line is what makes a film

  • Possibly the best movie ever.

  • @highnine9 You obviously haven't seen 12 Angry Men yet.

  • @highnine9 I totally agree. And a great ensemble of actors as well. One of my favorite movies, one of Pacino's and Baldwin's best performances.

  • Saw this as a play in SFO and it was just as engaging as the film. Mamet sure knows his way around biting dialogue. As Ricky Roma says, ""have you ever taken a dump that made you feel like you slept for a year"" !

  • @meacarston

Mamet is also a film director, particularly of late, and it could be that he is ho hum on his direction, but respects his writing.

  • AO Scott said he didn't like Davids Mamet very much on an episode of At the Movies. Yet he gives a strong review here?
