I saw Placido Domingo as Sigmund a several years back. It was an amazing performance. I must admit, these two brought a new light to the role. Kaufmann's voice is amazing. I am not comparing the two.

@LimmieP I don't really think it's such a big deal. He didn't mean to hurt in any way. On the contrary, they get along very well. But the fact that it is attention grabbing enough to make people comment leads me to believe it wasn't maybe the smartest thing for Jonas to do. It might have been more logical, following your reasoning, for Jonas to get out of the camera shot like (and with) Eva. After all Placido had already concluded his talk to them.

@RSLify No...he was actually trying to keep her from leaving the camera shot before Placido closed out the interview and send the broadcast into the next segment.

@elendiari22 No he didn't say "Hallo Opa". But somehow I've got the feeling you won't love him less for that now, which, by the way, would have been logical since you loved him more thinking he said so. Anyway, "Europa, I'm coming back" is what he said.
