Wanted to share my first selfmade Case-Modding to the world. I used a dremel to cut the window. Then an original Plexi was used to make the side-window finished. Sideways, I used a 120mm FAN which is blue lightened with LEDs. In the back of the case I used a 80mm FAN which is also blue lightened with LEDs. On the CPU I put the awesome ASUS Silent-Square EVO CPU-Fan with a 92mm darkblue lightened FAN and heatpipes to get optimal heat control in my system. In the front I removed the HDD-cage to have a better view to my equipment. By removing this I could install another 80mm FAN which is green lightened with LED to get a nice colour-contrast between back and front of my case. My second HDD is installed reversed, so no cables can be seen. I also tried to get an optimal cable management, so I tried to hide all the unneeded and also needed cables to get a better look inside and of course to get a better airflow in my case. At the end I put some ALU-Look film on the back-plate to get a industrial look and more reflections from the lightened FANs. So, hope you like my first case-mod and give me some review, comments and/or ratings :)

  • a bit rough on edges but it still looks cool because of LED's. pretty good cable management... lol definitely better than mine!

  • go straight behind ur mobo tray instead of up to the top. were that metal panel is u got thier. kinder thru thier were mine is

  • sand (200 grit) self etching primer then paint, (automobile paint recommended)

  • oh i didn't cut the window myself. my father did it at his work :) but with a dremel you should get good results, too. just paint the lines carefully and then cut them with the dremel. before that, make a whole with a power drill to get the fist corner cut out...
