  • Man, I cant help but shake my head at how stupid letterman is. And the audience is just as clueless. America really is stupid.

  • I liked this interview, Green representing the scientific community and Letterman the common man, asking the "common man" questions. There is so much technology that we use today that we take for granted and most of the time we don't understand how it was made or how it works. Greens work is at the cutting edge of science it won't help us today, but it will benefit the future generation.

  • @metathus ....Man, I cant help but nod my head at how smart Brian Greene is. Additionally, the audience is clever to pick up on the humor. America is not as "stupid" as you seem to be. The guy sitting to Lettermans' right is American. To you and all the 25 re-re's who liked your comment.

  • Can I say how great it was of Dave to introduce someone like Greene on his show. Someone whose work actually matters and not some superficial 20 something promoting their latest stupid film. At least Dave tries to bring some education and culture to television. You woudn't see Jay do something like this.

  • How did i get from Lawrence Krauss a real sientist to this hippie dreamer called theoretical fysisist

  • It's definitely like watching a chimp interview a scientist. But it's all in good fun. I love Brian's laugh...

  • lol, the audience is like ... wtf?

  • Ba-dump, dump . . . crash.

  • @metathus I dont see you on tv talking about Particle Physics....but the American Brian Greene is.

  • letterman is a moron. he's an example of what you get with all humanities and no science.

  • @kdc43 It is unscientific to rule out a possibility. It is also unscientific to rule out the existence of unicorns, fairies and dragons. Scientists will respect the idea of a creator as much as they would the existence of magical creatures. They respect the scientific method enough to not rule out a hypothesis. Personally though, they will bet against the existence of such entities.
