Back in April of 2010, my boss asked me to write a song for The Down Syndrome Association of Middle Tennessee. They were going to be holding their annual fund raiser at the recording studio where I worked, and she thought it would be nice for me to write a song for them. I agreed, though I knew nothing of Down Syndrome. A few months later on June 30 2010, my wife and I delivered a baby boy who was born with Down Syndrome. It was a complete surprise to us. So, needless to say, this song has special meaning to me and my family. I hope you enjoy it.

A body born into this world is just a temporary form, but a soul will always be a part of eternity.
A simple twist of fate decides the life long color of your eyes, but it's your heart that you must guide to decide whats right in life.

We've seen our share of misery. But now there's something we must be. A light in someone else's life to help them shine on through the night.
