a twenty-year fight veteran, vs a full of themselves youthling.........regardless of desires, the youthling willa always lose. I like how yeoh gave her every chance though :)

Michelle Yeoh is an actual martial artist - zhang ziyi developed her skill through her many many years as a dancer. Alot of the older Michelle Yeoh movies showcase her raw, natural talent without all the wires - it's almost identical. I love them both. Such gorgeous ladies!

actually if you are using martial arts properly this would be over in seconds with movies they just make it more flashy for the audience

it's really the japanese that like to try and base their styles on finishing opponent with one barrage of attacks. even then, samurai vs samurai could still be an over 30 second fight.

Most samurai fifgts were over in one move. It could have gone as long as 30 sec as you mentioned before.
