Lawrence Mishel, President of the Economic Policy Institute predicts that, because of the recession, "over a third of the people are going to be unemployed or underemployed at some point in 2010." He argues that, as a result, poverty rates will spike, with over half of African American children living in poverty.

As President of the Economic Policy Institute, Lawrence Mishel is a nationally recognized economist. "Who's fucking who doesn't matter"....the "blame game" never works. I am making twice the amount of money now that I was making in a nursing home (health care....another issue). I now work in the Ethanol industry. If you want to ensure your future.....move into the "new economy" of renewable energy. Learn as much as you can about it and go there. I have been blessed through a series of circumstances....but I am better in this "bad economy" than I ever was when it was good... go figure.
