I was asked to do a piece for NPR's This I Believe for Veteran's Day 2006. When the book compiling their best essays came out mine was included. This reading is at Bookpeople in Austin Texas.

Here's another hint. we both lived in Hialeah at one time or another. But i can claim that at least I was born there(a big joke with los "cubanasos" from there). When you figure out who it is and get a chance please respond.
