ASC T-135AC/DC Tornado Siren Test Wauwatosa, WI 12/10/08

Brief alert test of the American Signal Corporation T-135AC/DC at the Wauwatosa city dump. The test was conducted by the Milwaukee County Sherrif's Office of Emergency Management. A few inches of snow had fallen in the days prior to the test, so there was a lot of it built up in the projector. When the siren starts up, it shoots out a plume of snow, which is pretty neat to see. After the test, you can hear several other Milwaukee County sirens winding down.

I noticed this siren rotates very slowly, which isn't exactly a good thing. Luckily, it was pointing at me for almost the entire test. Still, I'd rather be hearing the old ACA P-50 that this siren replaced.

I apologize for the obstructions in front of the siren. Because of piled snow, I couldn't find a better spot to set up my camera. Shot on a Canon Powershot S5IS.

@TheFiremansavage there's two T-135's actually.....the T-135 AC carried the P-50's design into the era where ACA Became ASC....the T135 DC is the one here.
