West Hartford Boy Scout Helps Homeless Veterans

A West Hartford Boy Scout is hoping his Eagle Scout project will help bring comfort to homeless veterans and awareness to greater Hartford community.

Nelson Clarke just graduated from Conard High School. This summer he has been working on an Eagle Scout project gathering donations of toiletries to donate to South Park Inn - a homeless shelter with a veteran drop in. Nelson has various drops throughout the community and hopes some of them will continue his mission after he leaves for college in September.

If you wish to donate, drop boxes are available at local VFW and American Legion Halls as well as the Bishops Corner Library. Distributed by Tubemogul.
