Our Philadelphia Christmas Adventure 2011

My hometown of Philadelphia during the Christmas Season. Philly did not do too much in the way of Christmas decorating so we concentrated on the history and beauty of the city. We show various sports arenas, the Philly skyline, Love Park with the German Christmas Village, Philadelphia City Hall & the Masonic Temple, the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, Center City Philadelphia, Chestnut Street, Rittenhouse Square & Street, Broad Street, Macy's, Independence Hall & various historic areas, Horse-drawn carriages, Betsy Ross House and the Ben Franklin Colonial Post Office.

Pretty awesome buildings love the architect wonderful city, you wouldn't think that you had some bad storms but looking at your city is a dream

@leonardo1480 Did you notice the old-fashioned red London telephone booth? The original 13 colonies of the United States were settled by the British people. I wonder if people from the UK see a lot of familiar sights when they come to Philadelphia for a visit?

@fadedrose18 yeah I noticed the phone box they was built like tanks compared to the one we have now lol there are very few of them left now but some people here have bought them for about £100 and are using them such things like mini greenhouse lol

@leonardo1480 I would love to own one of them! I would be one of the people lining up with my 100 pounds to buy one! LOL They had a replica one at a nearby store but it was not very nice and they wanted way too much money for it! I know! Phone booths have pretty much disappeared. They are just collector's items now!
