FALL. Oops!You Gotta Keep Smiling...

Cos things can't get much worse ;)
Fell off my cheeky boy in the 1ft8 class - humiliating really! No idea why I fell to be honest, poor riding on my part. He slammed the brakes on at fence 2 which was tiny and not scary at all. First time I've fallen off him jumping in ages, normally hacking is when I bite the dust as he plays up more in fields than schooling.
On a positive note, no rearing or bucking, even when someone cantered right up his bum in the warm up. He was also very chilled waiting around at the showground. But I can't get past the fact that he only jumped 1 fence! I on the other hand, managed to clear 2 :p. Oh well, all part of the learning curve I guess, better luck next time!
