Bernadette indicated that the likeness of the Blessed Mother was different than the image which was created later. I tried so many times to draw what I saw and there was just no way. For what you see is not only the image of a person, you are looking at pure love. A love so intense that it carries over to the one that sees. That is why no picture or statue can compare.
