  • I just wanted to let viewers know that this film was made by 8th grade students in one afternoon as part of an informal history project. It was solely meant to entertain and educate fellow classmates of that current 8th grade class. So to all users who are commenting on how these 14 year-olds were "WAY ahead of the times" and how "It's A fake Video," please consider the feelings of these kids who simply made a movie for a fun school project. Thank you.

  • Goofed with the kid wearing the baseball hat at the table - and using the slingshot. That would NEVER have been allowed. Most large cities were using electric at the turn of the century. OOPS and did I see a TV on that ultra modern kitchen counter? And the modern refrigerator - boy these people were WAY ahead of the times LOL

  • @GeminiNightOwl This film was never meant to be professional or accurate. It was a fun history project done in a few hours by 8th grade students.

  • I don't get the point of this. Are we supposed to believe this is either a real documentary film (which it obviously isn't), or a faithful re-creation of what daily life might have been for a family like this in the 1920s (in which case it doesn't ring true for one second)?

  • @bookbuzzardstanley You are supposed to believe neither. This film was made solely for the entertainment of fellow 8th grade students of a history class at the time with what these 14 year-olds had to work with around their house one afternoon. It is simply a fun history project from middle school.

  • The kid with the baseball cap ruined the video. But good music!

  • hey, give these kids some credit. the negative comments miss the point and the effort that went into this. of course it's not real, any more than some of the stuff on the history channel. still, well done with all it's "faults"...kudos to whoever made it.

  • I love how there was a t.v. in the background(:

  • Cute.......nice, poor people all they have for breakfast are toasts that are not even sliced....and milk ! yikes

  • @BRBentertainment A good work!

  • the women in the 20s were not cooking and cleaning-_- it was a time of change and rebirth, flappers, charleston?, did they not do any homework? it looks great though;p

  • @BRBentertainment I didn't mean to offend you or anyone else with my comments, I just think that the kids should have done their homework a bit better considering all the information available to them nowadays. If you remember 30 and 35 years ago (when I was in school) we had to look it up at the library and make sure our essays an artwork was accurate. Don't get me wrong, I give these kids credit for their work - I think all in all it was a fun effort. Happy New Year to you :)

  • @BRBentertainment In that case..it was a job well done!!

  • so many mistakes....baseball caps werent worn then....the man is clearly a woman (couldnt you have found a guy?),,,,sneakers like he wears at 2:08 didnt exiist,,,I applaud theattempt to capture the 1920's..but its a fail!
