My first video didn't really show much as far as the process goes on doing this. However, everything is done now and I went through it from start to finish as much as possible.

For those of you out there that are going to be doing this, I made it look a lot easier than it really is. There were several calls made to DC power and tons of troubleshooting that had to be done. This was a very tough install but it should really be worth it in the end.

Parts used:

(3) Singer Alternators
(1) AD 244 stock alternator
(1) DC Power Quad Alternator Bracket for GM cars

  • So the step down mods caught on fire? Glad you still have a truck good luck on the rest of your install.

  • @666jasonxxxx nah the step downs didn't. They do get really hot though. It was actually an amp that some how caught on fire over night.

  • Very nice work bud! The true test will be when ya put a load on the other alts. I hope for you it doesn't squeal like a lil piggy LOL. LIKED + INCREDIBLE for having a small nucleur power plant in your truck hehe.

  • Use of the 12V post or over charging is likely to cause this. If you just use the 16V post you will have zero issues at all.

  • good job mikey !

  • Good stuff!! Can't wait for it to be running 100% again

  • @dirtbikernick your totally correct! that's part of the reason why I haven't driven the truck. I ran out of washers and lock washers. I gotta go to Home Depot today to pick some up. good observation though

  • 3:40 should have ran a washer between the bolt and ground lug on the alt. bolt going to smush right into that copper..
